The Bridge of Love, also known as the Lovers’ Bridge, is a natural arch in the south of Cyprus. This rock formation, carved out by the sea, lies along the coast near Ayia Napa (Agia Napa). Planning a scenic road trip through Cyprus and looking for photogenic spots? Already captured Limni Pier, the Venetian bridges, Aphrodite’s Rock and the Edro III shipwreck? Then this is definitely a sight you won’t want to miss.
The legend of the Bridge of Love
According to local legend, couples who make a wish together while standing on the bridge will be granted good luck. This makes the natural bridge near Ayia Napa especially popular with lovers. These days, it’s a place where many romantic moments unfold. Proposals happen here regularly and it’s a favorite backdrop for wedding photos.

Why the Bridge of Love is also popular
The Bridge of Love isn’t just popular with couples hoping to make a wish on top of the rock formation. It’s also a regular stop on coastal boat tours and a favorite spot for divers and snorkelers. When the sea is calm and there’s little wave action, swimmers also love to visit this picturesque location.
How to get to the Bridge of Love in Ayia Napa
The bridge is clearly marked on Google Maps. Parking is available nearby, either along the road or in designated parking areas. During my visit, I was able to park right along the road, just a short walk from the bridge. The Bridge of Love is located not far from Cape Greco (only a 12-minute drive), another popular attraction on the island. Two great spots to combine in this beautiful part of Cyprus!
