When visiting the Bali Glass Bridge (also known as the Blangsingah Glass Bridge) in Gianyar, we decide to also check out Blangsinga Waterfall. After all, the two sights are located right next to each other. Blangsinga Waterfall is quite popular, so it gets busy—very different from some of the more peaceful waterfalls on Bali we’ve visited, like Campuhan Waterfall and Ulu Petanu Waterfall. Even though we generally prefer quieter spots, it’s still worth spending some time here.
Blangsinga or Tegenungan Waterfall?
Blangsinga Waterfall is also known as Tegenungan Waterfall, depending on where you enter. If you approach it from below, it’s called Tegenungan; from above, it’s referred to as Blangsinga. Since we parked at the Glass Bridge, it makes sense for us to visit from the top. We pay 20,000 IDR per person for entry and start walking down the stairs.
Warung Yeh Batu and Mooi River Valley
It’s a bit of a descent down the steps to the Petanu River. Even from this side, you’re still at the upper part of the waterfall. You’ll find places like Warung Yeh Batu and Mooi River Valley here—spots where you can enjoy food, drinks, a pool and of course, the view. We don’t stop at either of them this time, but they look relaxed and the reviews are great.

Viewpoint over Blangsinga Waterfall
If you stay at the top of the waterfall, you mostly overlook the Petanu River and the water cascading down 25 meters below. For a better view, or a more Instagrammable shot, you can follow the stairs down to the base. Just keep in mind it gets much busier down there, as that’s where most people gather. You can swim in the plunge pool at the bottom or relax on the rocks nearby.
For us, it felt a little too crowded, so we decided to head back to the car and look for quieter places. But if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, you could easily spend a few hours here swimming, people-watching and having lunch or a drink at one of the places mentioned earlier.

Omma Dayclub
Looking to spend the entire day in a slightly more luxurious setting? Then Omma Dayclub is the place to be. At Omma, there’s a minimum spend required. You’ll need to book your spot in advance, whether it’s a poolside lounger, a terrace seat or a comfy spot in the lounge. Prices range from around 200,000 IDR per person to as much as 3,000,000 IDR for premium spots. Some of these reserved areas can accommodate up to six people, which helps bring down the cost per person.
Whether you can use the pool for free depends on where you’re seated. Some bookings require an extra fee for pool access. In the restaurant, a few tables are available without a reservation and without a minimum spend. So if you’re lucky and just dropping by, you might still get a taste of the atmosphere without committing to a full day.

Alternative viewpoint for Blangsinga Waterfall
Not in the mood to tackle the 200+ steps down to the waterfall? Then check out Bumbu Asli Warung. This local restaurant has shaded terraces at various levels, offering beautiful views of the waterfall without the climb.
